Hi,
I'm Sarah Chu

After nearly a decade across hospitals, clinics, and schools, ZOÉ Speech & Language was founded in 2026 with a simple mission: high-quality speech therapy that is accessible in the place where the child feels most comfortable. No claim denials. No waitlists. No compromises or system restraints on care.
But I also opened it because I needed it when I became a mother.
As a 1.5-generation Korean-American raising a bilingual son, I know firsthand how hard it is to find an SLP who understands your family's language, culture, and context. According to a survey from 2025, only 3% of speech-language pathologists in the U.S. (out of 220,000) identify as Asian or Pacific Islander. A fraction of them are Korean-English speaking, bilingual SLPs- the only ones who can provide access to resources for speech and language development from a lived-in experience.
Through therapy, parent coaching, and resources grounded in current research, I'm here to make sure every child is seen fully — not just for their communication skills. Your family, culture, and values make up the bright world your child is growing up in, and I count it a privilege to meet you there!

The ZOE Way

Child-Led, Family Centered
We are committed to fostering a strong connection with families through tailored therapy sessions and supportive resources. A speech goal should exist from understanding a child for their unique personality, likes/dislikes, their family, culture, and values. Each plan of care starts there — not with a checklist.
Transparency & Collaboration
As parents, we go through hurdles to give the world to our child. At ZOE, that trust isn't taken lightly. You deserve to know what we're working toward, feel the momentum when it's there, and never have to wonder if any of this is working. Therapy works best when parents are partners included in the process from the start.
Evidence-Based Practice
We believe in nurturing growth through fun, interactive approaches. Our therapy sessions are designed to captivate the child's strengths and interests, while staying rooted in current research. Research tells us what has been proven to work. You tell us what works for your family. The best therapist curates each session from understanding the value of both.
